Rejuvenate Advanced Skin Clinic-Mind Your Cells Treatment

A while back at the start of this year I went for a facial at the Rejuvenate Advanced Skin Clinic in Naas and I had to write about how my experience went!

When I first walked in I felt immediately comfortable and the setting is so comfortable and inviting, yet very professional with a friendly atmosphere. My facial treatment was the Mind Your Signature Cells treatment which is a complete customised facial to meet your skincare specific skincare needs.  My therapist was a very friendly therapist named Niamh who was highly skilled at her job with a wealth of knowledge on skin care and also provided me detailed information and knowledge required for my skin.

Niamh started my facial with a gentle cleanse followed by a glycolic peel , this was my first time to have a professional glycolic peel and I was expecting to feel a strong, almost sting like feeling however this peel was gentle yet effective and I felt no more than a slight tingle, which Niamh assured me was normal and proved the products were working on a deep level on my skin.  All the products used were a mix between Environ & Image skincare and they felt amazing on my skin. These products are also sold in-house along with some other amazing brands including the fabulous Skin Mitt by skin expert extraordinaire, Jennifer Rock aka The Skin Nerd.

Niamh then incorporated electrical elements to further boost my hydration levels and informed me that my skin was only slightly dehydrated which I was pleasantly surprised by! Niamh re-iterated the importance of SPF and recommended wearing it everyday throughout the year and even though I was aware of this , I have been a bit lax in incorporating it into a daily routine for fear of break-outs! Niamh recommended the IMAGE Prevention + Daily Hydrating Moisturiser SPF30  which is  a long-lasting, deep moisturiser for dehydrated and sensitive prone skin combined with a broad-spectrum high UVA/UVB sun protection. It spreads easily and evenly without any residue which will not clog the pores.  As the SPF is combined in the moisturiser it will make using an SPF easier as part of my daily routine and I have the additional added comfort of knowing my skin is protected!

Niamh also fully outlined a recommended treatment plan and home care routine for me so that I could  fulfill the routine at home and the skincare plan she devised me it working so well, my skin has never looked better! I NEVER EVER walk outside without make-up on so I was pleasantly surprised when I was not running for my car the minute my treatment was over, my skin looked fabulous!
